Eeeee! I have been prepping the baseboards to paint! That might not seem like nothing to get excited over, but to me it marks a milestone. We are finally on floors!!!! Yay!!!!! So this is the dining room and I will be placing linoleum in here and the kitchen:
The living room and front room floors are going to be painted.
The hallway light just got a freshly cleaned cover on!
I picked up a few boards for the closet to have some shelves. Those will be up this week, as well as new carpeting!!!
I bought a new/used bathroom sink. The faucet part is all new.
The ceramic part is new to me, but it came from a second hand store. Recycle, reuse! :-) I gotta do something about that epoxied plug. The old sink had too many cracks and even the epoxy couldn't make it look as nice as I thought it should.
And yanked out a bunch of staples!
All while I lounged around giving orders. JK I had to check and see if ya'll were really reading. :-) I cleaned and taped trim mostly.
The front railing got some touch up paint as well.
And so did the glass cupboard where we kept our supplies.
I was browsing Hobby Lobby the other day, (In search of a paint medium for fabric, which I found!!!), when some paintings caught my eye.
I feel inspired to paint. Perhaps not abstract, though.
It will be nice to paint for the sake of art, as opposed to painting a room for the purpose of a $$$ experiment. Although, I will say it's all been better than I had expected thus far. It has been FUN!
